Sync
Your vocabulary and your own transformations, on every device you sign in on — Plus and above.
On Plus and above, the words Tiune has learned and the transformations you've written follow you to every device you're signed in on. Add a name on your Mac and your PC spells it right too.
What syncs
- Your vocabulary — the words you added, the ones Tiune learned from your corrections, and the ones you imported.
- Your own transformations — the ones you wrote, with their instructions. The built-in ones (Polish, Professional, Shorter, Translate) come with the app, so there's nothing to sync.
Deletions sync too: remove a word on one device and it goes from the others.
Your history, your meetings and your settings don't sync. They stay on the device where they were made.
Transformations aren't on Android, so they only matter on your computers. Vocabulary syncs to the phone as well.
When it happens
- After a change. A word you add or a transformation you edit is sent a few seconds later.
- When you open Tiune and when you sign in, it fetches what changed on your other devices.
- Every so often while Tiune is running, it checks again.
There's nothing to press. If two devices change the same word, the most recent change wins.
Sync needs a connection. Offline, your changes wait and go up the next time you're connected — nothing you do on the device depends on it.
Which plans
Sync is part of Plus, Pro and Teams. On Free, your vocabulary stays on the device where it was made. See Plans.
Where it's kept
To get from one device to another, your vocabulary and your own transformations are stored with your Tiune account on Tiune's server. Nothing you dictated is part of it — no audio, no transcripts. See Privacy.
